The Andhra Education Society (AES) was established on 5th June 1948 by the visionary social reformer Dr. Durgabai Deshmukh, with the aim of providing quality education to the Telugu-speaking community in Delhi. Over the decades, AES has grown into a premier educational society, committed to preserving Telugu language and culture while promoting inclusive, high-standard education.
The AES N.T. Rama Rao Memorial Sr. Sec. School, Janakpuri, was founded in March 1975 as part of AES’s integrated educational initiative. It began with humble origins, operating from rented premises with just four teachers and approximately 70 students.
The school is named in honor of Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) — a legendary actor, cultural icon, and three-time Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. His enduring contribution to Telugu heritage and public life continues to inspire generations. The institution proudly carries his legacy forward as a beacon of education and cultural integrity.
AES has grown into a premier educational society, committed to preserving Telugu language and culture while promoting inclusive, high-standard education.
